(Q) I have bought a new copy of McAfee Virus Scan and want to remove my old virus scan software, how do I do that? (A) It is always a good idea to remove all old virus scanning software before installing new software. Go to the control panel and then click on Add/Remove Programs and find your software in the list and click on remove. If after you have removed the software and your still having issues click on the software removal tools provided below. Then reinstall. (Q) My computer is running slow and may have a virus, what should I do? (A) Most computers become slow when they have viruses or if they have not been cleaned of unnecessary files and programs. We recommend that you bring the system so that our trained technicians can clean the viruses and remove the files and programs that are slowing you down. As well we will make sure your fans and system are running their peak. If you would like some do-it-yourself try running SPY BOT to clean some of those programs. |
